What is a SDS? Safety data sheets (SDS) are a tool to provide information to the user about the product they are handling. They provide information about the composition of the material, potential health effects, first aid, fire fighting measures, handling, storage, exposure controls, personal protection equipment (PPE), physical and chemical properties, stability, reactivity, disposal, and transportation (DOT), along with several other useful sections. 

In 2015, SDS replaced the US standard material safety data sheets (MSDS). The new GHS standard required a uniform system of hazard classification, consistent health and safety warnings, and standard pictograms. 

The solutions and chemicals supplied by Rocky Mountain Reagents are intended for use by trained personnel only. All personnel handling chemicals or chemical solutions should read and understand all safety and handling sections on the SDS.
