Product Overview
Serial Number Restoration Reagents
All firearms made after 1968 are legally required to have a serial number, typically located on the frame or receiver. When serial numbers are removed or damaged, forensic techniques can restore them by detecting changes in the metal’s structure caused during stamping or etching.
No single formula works in every situation. Restoration depends on variables like the type of metal, how the number was originally applied, and the method used to obliterate it. With our complete lineup, you’ll always have the right tool for the job.
