Product Overview
Crystal Violet is the primary stain in the Gram staining method, used to color both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria at the initial stage of the process. It binds to peptidoglycan in bacterial cell walls, forming a strong base color that is retained by Gram-positive cells following iodine fixation.
