Silica 60A is a powdered silica xerogel (silicon dioxide) that’s been optimized for column chromatography with or without elevated pressure. Its particle size, surface area, pH ≈ 7.2, and purity are designed for improved flow and maximum adsorption. This fine spherical particulate measures 37-63 microns (µm) and has a nominal pore size of 60 angstroms (Å).
