Terry’s Polychrome Methylene Blue is a specially aged and oxidized methylene blue formulation, developed for rapid staining of blood smears, particularly in the detection of malarial parasites and other blood-borne protozoa. As a Romanowsky-type stain, it combines the qualities of methylene blue and its oxidized derivatives to provide differential staining of cellular components with excellent contrast and detail.
